Why Maraki Exists

Rooted in Te Tairāwhiti, Maraki Productions was established to support kaupapa Māori, Indigenous and queer creatives to realise ambitious work without compromising who they are.

With experience navigating funding systems, institutions and community spaces, Maraki acts as both advocate and anchor throughout the creative process.
